Terms & Conditions

1. The Lottery schemes shall be organized and conducted in accordance with the Lotteries (Regulation) Act, 1998, and the Lotteries (Regulation) Rules, 2010 and Sikkim State Lottery (Regulation) Rules, 2023.

2. Total Lottery Scheme will have maximum 20000000 Lottery tickets in 80 to 99 Serial Number, viz Series A,B,C,D,E,G,H,J,K,L numbering from 00000 to 99999. MRP of the ticket is ₹7/-.

3. Face value of the ticket (MRP-GST and other taxes, Discount to the Distributor).

4. The draw will be held as per the notified scheme. The number of prizes for each draw shall be as per the scheme decided by the Directorate of Sikkim State Lotteries.

6. The Prize Winners above ₹ 10,000/- in a single ticket or in multiple tickets, will be awarded Prize Money on submission of original Prize winning ticket duly signed by the winner at the back of the ticket, along with a filled claim form, affidavit, PAN Card, cancelled cheque leaf, identity and address proof of document and three attested photographs, to the Principal Director, State Lotteries, Government of Sikkim, Gangtok or Authorized representative in respective states within 30 (Thirty) days from the date of draw. Any claim thereafter shall not be entertained. All other Prizes up to ₹ 10,000/- may be encashed from respective agent/sellers. Prize money above ₹ 10,000/- is liable for tax deduction at source under the Income Tax Act, 1961.

7. The details of the prize winners may be used to publish in print and electronic media for promotional activities.

8. If a winner wins prize money exceeding ₹ 10,000/- from multiple tickets, he/she must inform the agent/sellers while making his/her claim. If the winner discloses such information to agent or sellers, they must assist the winners to claim the prize money in the prescribed format along with the original tickets directly from the Directorate of Sikkim State Lotteries, Gangtok or Authorized representative in respective states.

9. The Agent/sellers of the Distribution Network are authorized to disburse the prize money up to ₹ 10,000/- only. In respect of a single transaction, in no circumstances the Agent/sellers of the Distribution Network shall disburse the prize money exceeding ₹ 10,000/- to a particular winner in a single transaction.

10. Claim on a prize-winning ticket which is forged, torn, mutilated or tampered with shall not be entertained.

11. One ticket can win prizes of one rank only whichever is higher in terms of prize money. Tax shall be deducted as per the provisions of the Income Tax Act.

12. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Principal Director, State Lotteries, Government of Sikkim, Gangtok, will be final and binding. All the Legal jurisdiction of the lottery scheme will be at Gangtok, Sikkim only.

13. Stockists/Selling Agents and sellers are advised to check the correctness of the printing and numbering of tickets before selling and buyers should do the same before purchasing it. In case of any defect including numbering on the ticket, the same should be immediately got exchanged with fresh one in lieu thereof. The liability of State/Printing Press is limited to the extent of exchange of defective tickets only.

14. Tickets shall not be sold in those states where the sale of Paper Lottery tickets are prohibited.
